The Griffon universal multi-functional soil tillage implement, manufactured by Agropride LLC, is designed to perform a wide range of tasks and is suitable for any tillage technology. The Griffon delivers high-quality performance for both full-width (broadcast) and inter-row cultivation at virtually any stage of plant growth and on all soil types.
The versatility of our unit is ensured by a robust double-row frame and shanks arranged in two rows, mounted via quick-release brackets. These specially designed brackets allow for rapid changes of working organs and spacing adjustments to meet technological requirements. Thanks to its modular design, the Griffon can execute various functions depending on the mounted attachments.
Key Advantages of the Griffon Multi-Functional Soil Tillage Implement:
• Semi-mounted attachment method ensuring high tracking precision within the row.
• Four support wheels in the working position, ensuring high precision in maintaining working depth.
• Adjustable track width for all four support wheels.
• Adjustable spacing between working organs.
• Various working organ options.
GRIFFON ROTARY HOE (WEEDER)
The Griffon Rotary Hoe boasts a number of significant competitive advantages. First and foremost is the special frame design, which allows shanks with working organs to be positioned in two rows in virtually any configuration. The two-row arrangement increases the interval between shanks, allowing for operation in fields with heavy crop residue. In the base configuration, the Griffon rotary hoe is supplied with shanks mounted for full-width cultivation. This arrangement allows the Griffon to be used as a classic rotary hoe for pre-sowing, pre-emergence, and post-emergence harrowing of both row and cereal crops.
The Griffon performs the following tasks with a full-width arrangement:
• Breaking up soil crust.
• Soil loosening with aeration ("micro-explosions" enrich the soil with nitrogen).
• Elimination of most weeds at the white thread stage.
When necessary, the Griffon's shanks can be easily and quickly repositioned in almost any order and with any spacing.
A crucial feature of the Griffon is the ability to perform high-quality inter-row cultivation of industrial crops. All that is required is to position the shanks at the necessary intervals, adjusting for the specific row spacing. The Griffon is equipped with European-made spiral spring shanks that create a "jackhammer" effect, ensuring high-quality tillage through constant vibration.
The design of the rotary wheel (spider) itself is also noteworthy. The disc diameter is 550 mm. The rotary wheel consists of easily replaceable segments cast from special steel with a full heat-treatment cycle. Each segment is secured to the hub with just two bolts. Field replacement of damaged segments takes only minutes.
GRIFFON DISC
The Griffon Disc unit is created for a broad spectrum of tasks—from quality stubble disking with vertical tillage to seedbed preparation with excellent soil leveling and uniform residue distribution. Crop residue left on the surface can significantly reduce wind and water erosion and helps retain moisture by preventing evaporation. Residue chopped by the discs is mixed with organic material, increasing soil fertility and water-holding capacity. If necessary, the Griffon can be equipped with discs of various diameters and designs.
GRIFFON TINE (CULTIVATOR)
If needed, duckfoot sweeps can be mounted on the Griffon's spring shanks, enabling pre-sowing cultivation.
